Hello,
we are
Sprayed Ink.

Or, slightly more honestly, *I* am Sprayed Ink. I have a wide format printer (two, truth be told), which for friends, I sometimes prod into action - making posters, banners and assorted lovelinesses.

I'm old, cantankerous, desperately lazy but if you know exactly what you want AND your artwork is ready to print, read on. If you like.

I print - but do not design.

My experience of most DTP software is limited to muttering darkly about having to faff about with a PC while having an empty teacup and hunting for the Print button.

If you expect me to create your artwork, well sorry poppet, it isn't going to happen. I can press print. I'm ok with that. I can even scale images to the size you want.

If you want me to print smaller than A4, then that means you (notice that this is not me), will be trimming down bigger sheets. So yes, you can have 500 A6 leaflets - but that means I will be handing you 125 sheets of A4 and you can get the scissors out. I really cannot be arsed to do that sort of thing. I mean a decent printer would do that for you, but, well, you can finish this sentence for me too....

So, assuming your artwork is "ready to print", feel free to carry on.

Here's a somewhat gratuitous picture of
a lemon. I hope you like it.

I know I shouldn't do this, but it's almost a little filtering system. Most people should have buggered off by now, it reduces the workload. Less work, more cups of tea.

Alright, you win. Let's cut to the chase.

Just as a final annoyance. If you are not based in Wellingborough, you need to be prepared to potter over to collect the completed artwork. Oddly enough, this isn't purely down to me being lazy (though it is a factor), it is more to the fact that poster tubes are expensive and the postage of them doubly so. Most folks get tetchy when they are expected to pay for postage AND packaging - and I expect you have already worked out the chance of me providing that for free, so I can stand in the Post Orifice for 30 minutes in a "people" miasma.

If you are in Wellingborough though and your order comes to at least £20, I will pop it in free (or at least try to, if you are not in, then you will need to potter over and collect it after all).

Still with me?

I'm impressed, gently annoyed, but impressed nevertheless.

Prices

Prices are for dye printing on heavy coated matte paper. Gloss is possible, pigment printing too, but let's talk about that if you need it. Dye is slightly more vivid and cheaper too, however it is not suitable for long-term external use as it will fade under UV.

The first print of EACH design costs more - that is because for each image, I have to manually faff about loading images, adusting dimensions to your requirements and then printing a quick proof. Ongoing copies of the same image at the same size are therefore much cheaper. If you need precision trimming it is essential that you speak to me first so we can talk about cut-marks, costs etc.

We can print upto 24" wide with the Dye Printer and upto 44" wide on the Pigment Printer. We can also print adhesive vinyl, banner grade polyester and so on.

Probably won't of course, but we can.

Well......

That's about it really, the best way to reach me is via mark@buggerall.com or exmark@lineisp.com - attitude is everything - even though mine sucks. If you are actually a pleasant person - and we have a mutual friend or two, I will see if I can help you. In an emergency, I can sometimes print and even deliver same-day, but it's best to work on the basis that it'll take a day or two. Or three. Maybe four. Five is possible....
